Twitter Autorefresh
Monday, March 6, 2017
This plugin automatically loads new tweets in Twitter's desktop interface, provided the browser window is scrolled to the top and no popups are open.
This gives Twitter a chatroom-style experience, and does so without confusing or interfering with the user if they're interacting with tweets down the page or with popups, which is a little savvier than any other current Twitter autorefresh plugins.
If you want the page to not autorefresh temporarily, simply scroll down it a little bit or open a popup. When you want it to start autorefreshing again, scroll back to the top, close any popups, and wait a second or so.
This is a Web Extensions plugin and works in both Firefox and Chrome, using the same exact javascript.
